It would be nice for us to get the Stanley cup on Mellon Arena ice at least once. Personally on a side note I don't understand why they couldn't go one more year.
Why not let the arena have 50 years?
Granted it's time to bring in the new, but would one more year really hurt. I mean Three Rivers didn't last nearly as long. That place was a crap hole though. The Civic Arena was pretty cutting edge when it was built.
Well there is a good chance this will be the last Penguin game at the Mellon Arena I'm sure the new one will be nice. If you have never seen a Penguin game at Mellon arena I suggest you go tonight. Tickets for game 7 between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Montreal Canadiens can still be had for under a hundred and a half. I'm not sure for how long though.
Go get them now.
